IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering
Professionalizing the requirements process
Good and clear requirements are an important foundation for any project. Requirements errors are arguably the leading cause of problems in both large and small projects. Professionalizing the requirements process through requirements engineering according to IREB provides a more valuable set of requirements and a more solid foundation for the project to increase the quality of the product early on. For this, it is important to have a good idea of what the system is for which the requirements are and in what context this system is located. Of course, tooling that can help with requirements engineering is also discussed. The following topics are covered during this three-day training:
- Acquiring good requirements
- Capturing requirements correctly
- Reviewing requirements
- Managing requirements
A variety of practical assignments are used to cover these topics. This way of working promotes learning and will ensure that it is immediately applicable.
Exam Upon completion of the training, participants can easily schedule their own IREB Foundation exam through iSQI, an independent exam institute. The exam lasts 75 minutes and is a multiple-choice test. A score of at least 60% must be obtained to pass. The Foundation Level certificate is valid indefinitely. The cost of the exam is €250 (not included in the price of the training). IREB: International Requirements Engineering Board.
