The free webinar “How to change Usability from a law enforced cost item into a Value-Added Asset?” will take place on Thursday, May 30. This webinar covers the importance of good Usability and digital accessibility, covering aspects such as User Experience (UX) and Accessibility. We are responding to the growing focus on Usability and digital accessibility in software development.

On June 28, 2025, the latest update to the European Accessibility Act (EAA) will take effect. This law requires e-commerce companies to make their digital services accessible. This means that all digital products must comply with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 (AA)). Companies that do not comply with these guidelines risk legal action, including fines, from that point on.

Polteq does not view WCAG compliance merely as a mandatory end goal. In fact, there is great added value in Usability. Digital accessibility – and more broadly, Usability – is not only “socially responsible,” but also distinctive and commercially appealing.
