Test Improvement 4 Agile
Software development is increasingly done Agile. Boundaries between functions blur and employees perform different roles. However, many organizations find it difficult to fit testing into this new way of working. With TI4Agile, that’s a lot easier! TI4Agile is an approach developed by Polteq for test improvement in Agile environments. We give you insight into the maturity level of testing in Agile context and help you grow to the next level. Our approach is suitable for organizations just starting out with Agile, as well as those that already have experience with Agile.
What is different with Agile?
The basis for testing in Agile environments is structured testing. By applying knowledge and skills more flexibly and creatively, you take an important step on the path to Agile testing. Employees who adopt Agile norms and values contribute optimally to testing in an Agile context.
Agile working focuses more on individual employees and less on processes. Your staff plays multiple roles: testers help build and design, and everyone contributes to testing. This requires teamwork and good communication. That is why human characteristics are at the heart of TI4Agile.
How does TI4Agile work?
To understand your current situation, we conduct a TI4Agile assessment. In it, 12 focus areas (“key areas”) are central. Each of these areas consists of checkpoints that provide guidance in assessing the current situation. You will receive the result of this assessment in a matrix.
Based on the matrix and the understanding of your organization, we create an improvement plan. In this plan, you will find quick wins and good practices that will bring Agile testing in your organization to the desired maturity level.
