SCRUM Game
The best SCRUM team will walk away with the prize!
The purpose of the training is to experience for yourself the benefits and pitfalls of testing within SCRUM. In this training we have chosen a “real life” SCRUM situation in which, through a number of iterations, a product must be tested that must meet a number of quality requirements. The main component of the SCRUM Game is a series of self-executing SCRUM iterations based on User Stories. In these iterations, participants are challenged to advise the Product Owner on putting a product developed specifically for this training into production. In addition to the iterations, time was set aside for a theoretical foundation. We will cover the basics of Agile and discuss a specific method (SCRUM) for managing testing in an Agile context. In addition, we discuss the principle of “business value,” prioritization and techniques that make testing an effective valuable activity in an Agile context.
A competitive format was chosen in this one-day training, where working according to the SCRUM method and finding faults in the product is profitable. The best SCRUM team will walk away with a prize. A fun interactive training that, according to feedback, works as an eye-opener for every participant and immediately proves its usefulness for daily practice.
