When testing software, knowledge of and experience with supporting tools in addition to typical “testing skills” is almost indispensable for testers. Consider, for example, interacting with databases by setting up queries (e.g. SQL) or analyzing messaging in, for example, Web or chain environments (XML or HTML).
The purpose of this training is to give participants an understanding of how to use such assisted tools, obviously from a testing point of view. The goal is not to become a developer. This training is primarily a “do” training. After a brief explanation, participants get to work actually applying the knowledge they have gained. This training is an essential part of the professional tester’s training program.
The training is delivered by experienced instructors from Polteq who work with support tools in practice.
This one-day hands-on training is designed primarily for testers with little technical experience.
