We are looking for a driven professional to combine two roles: Sales Manager Training & Marketing Manager
Polteq is the largest independent software quality specialist in the Netherlands and Belgium and market leader in test training. Professionals work at Polteq. With offices in Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Deventer, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Groningen, Maastricht and Leuven (Belgium) we are always close to our customer.
To further expand our success, we are looking for a driven professional who wants to combine two functions.
What will you do?
Sales Manager Training (20 hours) In this role, you will identify customer needs and respond with appropriate training solutions.
You will be responsible for realizing new service contracts with both existing and new clients.
- You will open doors at (new) customers through your knowledge and experience in the testing profession and training;
- You will master the entire sales process, from acquisition to maintaining customer relationships;
- You will promote our software quality training services to new and existing customers;
- You will work with existing account managers to recommend training opportunities to their clients;
- You will prepare a sales plan for Training and ensure adequate follow-up;
- You will actively participate in internal and external meetings to increase your knowledge and promote our services;
- Together with the Training Department, you will form a winning team in finding great assignments that align with Polteq’s strategy and vision for the future;
- You convert customer inquiries into appropriate training offers;
- You actively seek new leads from major providers and (international) clients for whom Polteq can provide training;
- You will maintain relationships with existing Training clients with the goal of continuous improvement;
- You will build professional relationships with our professionals and provide client support.
Marketing Manager (20 hours) As an experienced hands-on Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and growing our brand proposition ‘Premium software quality’.
Together with a dedicated communication officer you will work on Polteq’s online & offline presence.
- Implement the strategic marketing plan;
- Generate marketing leads by developing opportunities to reach, captivate and engage our target audience;
- Compile and execute the annual marketing calendar that includes webinars, live events and online campaigns;
- Creation of on- and offline marketing materials;
- Ensuring a consistent tone-of-voice in all communications;
- Devise and execute creative (online) recruitment and marketing campaigns;
- Actively maintain and manage the Polteq website and associated CMS;
- Organize conferences and client events such as breakfast sessions, workshops, seminars/webinars, anniversaries, etc;
- Collaborate in a close-knit MarCom team and report to the Director.

What do you bring?
A completed college or university degree (IT and Marketing/Communications) or relevant work experience;
Knowledge of IT, software development and quality management;
Several years of commercial experience in the IT services industry or selling business market training and B2B marketing;
Experience managing, monitoring and optimizing online advertising, lead generation campaigns and marketing automation;
Excellent communication skills and command of the Dutch and English languages;
Enthusiasm, humor, commercial assertiveness, flexibility, efficiency, structure, a healthy drive and a mindset focused on continuous learning and development;
A relevant and active network of potential clients is a plus.
